Why does warframe keep telling me to make sure my firewall permits udp ports 4950 and 4955 on ps410/25/2023 Warframe uses ports 49 (by default) for communications while in game (between your router and their server). I'm not sure I understand much past this point, and was curious if someone was more experienced in networking details or has struggled with the same problem. Since she doesn't understand, I let her keep the default "4950 & 4955" and I changed mine to "4960 & 4965." Since then, I have been getting ton of connectivity issues and "Session Unavailable" messages, keeping me from missions. For the most part, this makes sense to me. The popup message gave a link to the Warframe forums essentially saying that we would have to play from two different ports if we're on the same network, so one of us has to simply change our settings in Options > Gameplay > Network Ports. She was logged in and when I went to login on my own profile, the game mentioned a StrictNAT. She would come over and play on his Playstation downstairs while I play upstairs, with us both playing on the same network. I recently got my roommate's girlfriend into Warframe and I told her I would help her out in the game.
